This project was a Matterport Scan I completed as my final assignment for the AR/VR class last semester. I chose to scan the entire CougAR Lab to create an interactive virtual tour for prospective students. My goal was to spark more interest in the AR/VR side of the Digital Media program and support the program’s growth in the future.
Within the scan, I labeled every AR/VR device in the lab and created individual 3D scans of each one. I linked these scans in the device descriptions so viewers could explore them in more detail. I also added a video for each device to demonstrate its purpose and capabilities, giving DIGM students a preview of the equipment they would use before enrolling in the AR/VR class.
